The Coffee Shop is a full service coffee catering company based in Louisville. It was started in 1995 by one of Louisville's own, Dennis Weldon.

Dennis was employed by a local company to sell commercial Cappuccino/Espresso machines.
One day while trying to sell a machine to the concession operation at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds, a business opportunity arose. Dennis was asked to design and operate a cappuccino/coffee cart at the upcoming State Fair. The Cart's success has developed into our current catering operation known as "The Coffee Shop".
